Go Pack!

Yesterday our little family had a lazy day...we sat around watching the State game and movies all day. We decided to dress London up in all her State gear before she grew out of it since she is growing like a weed and some of her gear was for newborns. The hat and booties were given to her by her grandma and the paci came from aunt mary...thanks guys! Even though she looks slightly like a little boy in this outfit, we think she is adorable and had to capture the moment with a family photo :)

Our Little Angel, Spooky Woods & Snow

This past Wednesday, 11.18.08, the family met at the barn to celebrate Mary's birthday (albeit, a little late, thanks to the early arrival of London.) We all had a great time. London enjoyed seeing her Aunt Joyce & Unlce Danny, Grandma, Great - Grandma, Grandaddy, Uncle Ricky & Aunt Mary.

Here she is cooing and smiling at Ricky.

Being awake makes London sleepy.......She sleeps about 16 - 18 hours a day. Most of her awake time seems to be in the early afternoon and the middle of the night...Mom and Dad are very SLEEPY!!!

Deep thoughts...

Jedi Master...in Grandaddy's hands.

That night, I took the camera outside when I took Frankie on his last bathroom break of the day. Two things that you will notice here:
1 - I REALLY need to rake. I am just waiting on all of the leaves to fall so that I can use Grandad's huge leaf vacuum.
2 - The woods behind our house are REALLY spooky at night-time. It's over a mile straight back before you come to any other houses.

The next morning we woke up to a pleasant surpirse...SNOW! That damn Global Warming, I tell you.

and Finally, C and I got to go out for a nice dinner to ourselves. We dropped L off at Nanna's (who was SUPER - EXCITED to be babysitting) and had a nice couple hours to ourselves. We missed our little booger though, and hurried back right after dinner to be back with her. We can't get enough of her!!! She is exceptionally well - behaved. She gives a good 15 minutes worth of grunting and squirming before she breaks out into full scale crying, so you have plenty of time to change / feed / comfort her before you have a fussy baby on your hands. I have been around TONS of infants in my lifetime, and I can honestly say, she is one of the most well - behaved I have seen. We are truly blessed! Now I just hope that this continues all the way into the teen years!!!

One Week Old

Our little girl is one week old today!! I'm still getting used to the fact that holy crap, I'm a MOM, but I can't imagine life without her. She is an amazing little person :)

Sleeping beauty...

Her hair stands straight up after we wash it...it's awesome!

Going Home Today!

And we can't wait!! A few more pictures from yesterday and this morning. The days have really run together in a 24 / 7 facility like a hospital. We're tired, but got some good rest last night. L slept great between feedings and wasn't fussy at all! We are so thankful for her...she is an Angel! Thanks for everyone's support, visits and prayers. Look out world, here she comes!!!

Love,
The Osbornes

Daddy is soooo sleepy!

Baby Time :)

Before I get to the Baby Stuff...

Here are the pumkins that Crystal carved on Halloween. I had a pretty good one carved of a cat, but Frank pushed it off the porch and ate it.

Go figure...
Well, Halloween has come & gone, and November has found us inthe Women's Hospital preparing for the birth of our little Angel, London!

Yesterday (Monday, November 3rd) Crystal went to the doc for her weekly checkup. Since her feet were still swollen from water retention, Tanya wanted to do an ultrasound to find out the condition of the baby to see if she would be ready for induction if need be.
Well, lo and behold, our little Chunky Munkey already weighs in at around 8lbs 13oz! This is at 38 weeks. Tanya informed us the the risk of a C - Section if we let the pregnancy goto 40 weeks would be higher if we did not go ahead and induced now. So, last night, Crystal and I enjoyed a quiet meal of Spaghetti and Steak & Cheese from Mama Gina's take out (our favorite) and went to bed.

Here are a couple pics of her just before we left for the hospital this morning:
OK, let's get some perspective. Below is a picture of a 9 pound largemouth bass:
Crystal is brave...VERY BRAVE!
So, here we sit in the hospital room, waiting for our little booger to arrive.

Isn't she Beautiful!
We also want to send a "shout out" to Mary Culbreth, whose birthday we have ruined by birthing our Baby on the day of her party.
Whoops!!!...:)
We Love You, Mary!
