London's Baptism

London was baptized on Sunday, February 22nd. It was also Dad's birthday so I thought it would be great for L and her grandaddy to be able to share that day! She did so well. She cried for about a second but only because she was passed out and was woken up by Pastor Pete pouring water on her head. I would be a bit cranky as well if someone woke me up that way :) After that, she was fine, and let everyone see her in all her happiness!

We were very fortunate to have a lot of family come to the service to help celebrate her baptism although we were sad not everyone could be there. We even had some close friends come! So thank you to everyone that made the trip to be there...it meant a lot to Steve and I.

Unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures of the actual baptism, so here are the after photos.

Our little family.

Our doll baby! She looks like a little doll in this picture!

After a few pictures with everyone, London started getting VERY cranky. She had yet to have her morning nap, she needed her diaper changed, she was ready to eat again, and the pour thing was all itchy from the dress. After we changed her clothes and her diaper, fed her, and she got a solid 30 minute nap (she's not much of a napper) she was ready to play again. Boy did she play. I don't know how entertaining a baby can be, but this little girl is a ham. She had 6 adults standing around watching her, dying laughing from the giggles and the raspberries!
Here's L with Grandaddy...trying to put both of her fists in her mouth.

London likes when Mammie pulls her feet to her mouth. It makes her laugh.
Although last time mammie did this, L projectile spit up all over the place!

Again, being silly with Grandaddy

Nature Walk and Tanooki Suit

Yesterday mom and I took a walk on our lunch break. We weren't planning on a "nature walk" but ended up taking one. Before heading out in the wind, I grabbed my camera, and she grabbed her binoculars. I had to laugh as we walked out of the door with our gear. But, I'm glad I took my camera as I took some pictures around the farm. The one picture I wanted to take was of a Cardinal but the dang thing kept flying away! Here are some of my favorites...

First signs that spring is around the corner.

I just liked these...

Now I've saved the best for last. Our precious angel has a "tanooki" suit. For those of you who are unaware of what that is, it's the suit with the tail from Mario. I put it on her for the morning rides when the weather is extremely cold. But I realized this morning while I was struggling to fit her into the suit that she is almost too long for it, and I don't have any pictures documenting her cuteness in this outfit. When I got to work she was asleep so I thought it was the perfect time to snap some pictures. She woke up at the end, and the last picture is my favorite as it is evidence that she is in fact my child! Enjoy!

Our little sleeping beauty in her tanooki suit!

A quick close up.

Now drum roll please....

She wakes up and does this...haha. That's classic!

Bed Head

Dear Mommy,

Why would you post this picture of me? Can't you see the look I am giving you? How would you feel if I stuck a camera in your face and took a picture of your bed head right after a nap?? I will not forget this...

3 Months!

London Rose turned 3 months old on the 5th of this month, and we are so blessed to have this little girl in our lives! She constantly smiles and makes funny faces...she's very animated. I'm having a hard time rocking her to sleep at night because just when I think she has nodded off, I look down to see her smiling ear to ear with her tongue hanging out and I start cracking up which sets her off in a giggling fit! She is just this amazing little person with such a HUGE personality!

Right now she's pretty much holding her head up, and has discovered her hands and feet. She hasn't quite mastered rolling over yet, but is very close. And when you sit her in your lap she tries so hard to stand, although she isn't nearly strong enough to hold herself up! But the thing I love the most is all the cooing and talking she does. She listens so intently when you say things to her, then she tries her hardest to repeat it! I do have a feeling that Steve and I are going to be in big trouble very soon. She may look like daddy, but she acts like mommy; stubborn and active! I was talking at 6 months and walking at 9 months so if she continues down this path, I think we are going to have a little mini me!!

This little giggle makes us giggle everytime!
