Well, I guess since I was publicly chastised in front of our blogging community by my dear husband, I have taken a moment out of my crazy schedule to post some of my favorite pictures of the past few months. London as you can see in the pictures has grown up quite a bit since Easter. She now has 8 teeth, and one molar poking through. She is full of energy, going a mile a minute, and talking up a storm. And I swear she is the goofiest baby on earth. She is such a ham and really enjoys putting on a show and making everyone laugh. We are in the early stages of potty training since she has become very interested in the toilet. She likes to tell us right before her bath that she needs to peepee so we can sit her on the toilet and she makes the “pssssssssst” noise of peepee hitting the toilet water with her mouth. Then one morning she took the only bear in our house that doesn’t have a diaper on into the bathroom, picked up the toilet seat, put him on the potty and said “psssssttttt”, closed the toilet lid, got some toilet paper and wiped her bears bottom, threw that in the potty and looked at me and said “dapper.” So, we have taken the hint and when I am at home with her during part of the day, we have her pull-ups on which we refer to as her big girl panties, and yes, she calls them panties, and try to go to the bathroom at set intervals throughout the day. We’ll get there eventually!

In other news, not related to London’s development, or potty habits, we are absolutely loving the new house (as Steve mentioned). Steve and I both love being closer to work, especially me being closer to work, and London loves having Mammy & Pappy, and soon her Uncle Rirry very close by. It’s been awesome. And we’ve been blessed with the situation we are in with The Moody’s renting our house and fixing it up, and us renting the house from mom and dad until we purchase it.

Let’s see…as Steve said in his post earlier that the barn has been extremely busy. There has been a ton of weddings going on, one of which I was in. The rest of them I have done the flowers for. I think this year has been my busiest year of floral work so far, doing all but one of our spring weddings. But we’ve also had a lot of other things going on at the farm as well. Mammy and L were riding around earlier this spring and found a nest of three baby bunnies which of course now have vacated their hole but remain close by. Every afternoon we have to take London on a ride in search of the bunnies. We normally see at least one. Unfortunately, Sophie, mom and dad’s beagle found one of the other ones and it is not permanently sleeping L London saw the bunny after Sophie got a hold of it and kept saying “uh-oh bunny got boo boo”

Well I am going to wrap this post up so that you can enjoy our photos, but also because I need to get back to work. Hope you enjoy!!

Hey Crystal...Time to POST UP!!!

Browsing some friend's Blogs today and noted how long it had been since we updated ours...so I thought that I would post a few words to let folks know we are alive and well.

Crystal is in the thick of wedding season, and my job has been insane toa say the least. She has 2 more weddings and a rehearsal dinner to go before her summer "break," and then they start back in the fall. My sister Amanda is getting married at the barn next weekend to a great guy. Crystal is doing the flowers, but other than that we should be able to relax and enjoy the festivities! We can't wait!

The new house is going well...just repairing / renovating / decorating a little at a time. I don't know if I mentioned in an earlier post, but some friends of ours moved into our Summerfield house. Jason is a General Contractor, and is taking care of some of the repairs and renovation work that I was unable to get to before we moved out. They plan on staying there while they design and build their new home somewhere in the area. It's been a great situation for both of our families, as the Moody's have been able to live in a nice house out in the country without worry of leases etc. pressuring them to rush their home build, and we have a clean, trustworthy and AWESOME set of tennants that are fixing up our house to sell once they have moved out!

Living near the farm has also been a blessing for us. Crystal has a 30 second drive to work (just across the street) and is able to make "emergency trips" to take care of wedding stuff without have to drive an hour total for a 15 minute issue. London gets to see her Mammy and Pappy alot more, and even sees Pappy driving down the road on his tractors and she yells "HEY PAPPY!" We are actually a little closer to my folks and my office, so that has worked out well too.

So here is a call to my Wife! Time fo ryou to take a few minutes out of your busy schedule to post up and share some of the pictures that we have been able to take during the last few weeks!
